    I am so ****ed off.

Look, I love my Palm Pre.
This is my THIRD Pre because I love it off..

    First Pre:
    - Randomly said 'Phone Offline', couldn't fix it had to send it in and got a new one.

    Second Pre:
    - Was okay for a while, then the lock button wouldn't lock, had to buy a new one. I did not drop it, or anything.

    Third Pre:
    - RANDOMLY come home from work and I can't hear anyone talk to me on the other line, and no one can hear me talking. I did not drop it, or get any water near the phone.

I do have warranty but I seriously don't want to go to the store and hassle them into getting me a new Pre, which will probably take months.

Is there anyway I can fix this problem, MYSELF?

I really do love this phone, but seriously the Blackberry Torch is looking pretty sexy right now.. I just want my Pre to WORK..

can you hear system sounds like cards "swishing" away or the phone buttons beeping?
Had you recently plugged in a pair of headphones or a headset?

I have the same problem on my brand new Pre3. You might find you have to wiggle the headphone jack a bit to get it to tell the phone to switch back to external speakers.
