    All,

I saw the recent announcement that we can now watch YT videos in-browser, but nowhere do I see an explanation of how you do that. If I go to Youtube.com and pick a video, it will every time kick me out to the YT app.

Is there some inside joke I missed out on?

I think that it is for embedded videos on other websites.

Hmmm...no dice here. I went to a forum that I know does embedded videos and still got kicked out to the App when I tried to watch a video. The forum has Mobile and Desktop versions and I got the same result with both.

It seems inconsistent. I tried an embedded vid on P|C and the in-line player showed (but refused to show me the content).

For example: This is the link used above -- [url]

    This works:
    [url]

Personally, I wish we had the option. HTML5 player is cool in-browser, but the YouTube app does a better job overall. Ah well

I'm guessing someone knows something I don't. That's why I created this topic, of course.

Tried that link but still can't see the videos. Guess it's YMMV.

Can someone give me a link to a video that works in HTML5 on YouTube on their Pre/Pre Plus?
