I am able to view south asian (indian) fonts on my touchpad. This is what I did. I replaced the Heikei....(japanese font) file with arialuni.ttf file. However, the same thing doesn't work with palm pre. I replace VL-PGothic-Regular / batang font files with arialuni.ttf file and it doesn't work either in the browser or in the email app etc. Does anyone know why? I saw posts where people were able to get Hebrew font working on Palm Pre. Not sure why South Asian fonts don't work on the palm pre phone.

    Appreciate any help.

    Thanks.

I noticed that the description of the homebrew app called "pIqaD/Hebrew Font" says it also includes a Malayalam font, if that is any help for you.
