Integration with Ubuntu?

I've been wanting to do something like have my texts from my pre pop up on my ubuntu desktop for a while, and today my boyfriend showed me this an app that does exactly this, but it is unfortunately for android :/

Anybody know of a way I can get my notifications from my phone on my ubuntu desktop?

Actually, any kind of integration with ubuntu would be neat, so long as its wireless. Thanks, and much appreciated!!
