Pre+ identifies as "unknown" to bluetooth
Just bought a Plantronics Calisto 830 speakerphone. Nice device. It simultaneously connects via USB to my laptop for Skype calls and via bluetooth to my Palm Pre+. Install & setup was a snap, voice quality is much better than the Pre speakerphone.
When I paired my Pre with it, the Calisto named my Pre "unknown". It's kind of a nit but I would like to have it show up in the Calisto profile as Pre, or anything other than "unknown". The Calisto does not have any way to edit the device name. What I wonder, is if there is some config setting on the Pre that will send a specific device name to other bluetooth connected devices? |
