I've had my Sprint Pre a year now and I think it might be time.
Would love to hear suggestions on some good batteries. Should I get an extended battery or just regular?
How much size & weight do the bigger ones add?
    Prices too?

    Thanks

get an OEM replacement off Amazon for less than $5. Easy, and it'll hold your Pre until the new phones come out.

I have heard good things about Mugen batteries.

I guess the Mugen is the way to go.

Get the OEM battery and you keep touchstone charging. If you get a preggo battery, you loose touchstone and aesthetics from the phone.

Just install Uberkernel and use a screenstate setting and you will get an increase of battery life.

Just did this a few weeks back and I am very very very glad I did. I didn't realize how bad the old battery had gotten.

It's almost like a new phone covered in 2 years worth of cracks, drop marks, and fingerprint oil.

My Pre is also in dire need of a new batt!! I'm very satified w/my original Pre on 1.4.5....but I'm afraid I might have to switch to Android The Sprint site doesn't even have WebOs as an option!! Feels like all the loyal Palm & WebOs users are being tossed out & forgotten

    Veer's are cheap. I got mine with a Touchstone, (eBay)$83 + $27 shipping (Canada)

    It's an option anyway.
Due to the cancellation of the penny, I no longer give 2 about anything. I may however, give a nickel

    Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

    Avoid Mugen like the plague.

The first battery they sent me didn't work at all and I had to send it back to them at my expense to get a replacement. The replacement works, but has much worse battery life than my 2 year old OEM battery did.
