How to unlock At&t Pre Plus?

how do I unlock my at&t pre plus, I've been using it over wifi and will be traveling to the UK how do I unlock it to use with a Prepaid Sim card?

thank you, that was helpful, I actually did do a search and read the results but since some of them where OLD I was wondering if anything had changed, but since you couldn't be very helpful it seems I'll just have to take my chances and hope that things work out.
