help! keyboard unresponsive

Last week I successfully doctored my sprint pre to 2.01 and within the first hour the keyboard stopped working. I searched on the forums and found that taking the battery out and letting it sit there solved the problem. I succumbed to using the virtual keyboard patch until that started freezing my phone.

I doctored my phone back to 1.4x and when the palm profile screen pops up I cant put my emmail and stuff because my keyboard does not work. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas? I let the battery sit out of the phone for 15 minutes and when i insert it again the keyboard is still not working.

I don't know what else to do.Any suggestions?

having same issue, cannot activate a refurbed Pre, suddenly keyboard will not work

Sounds like a hardware issue to me... You can check by going to Device info app -> app menu -> tests -> interactive tests -> hardware buttons.

See what it says.
