    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    Not sure if this has been posted. I'm not a sprint user, but this was on the "how to install 2.1" thread:

    http://forums.precentral.net/webos-i...ml#post2908667

    Poster of that didn't include a link, but maybe someone could PM them.

    I don't know if you were able to install yet or not. But the easiest thing to do is to use the webos quick install v3.x and use the linux command line to run the ipk install. It's much easier and takes like 2 minutes.

    Anybody got any screen caps of the new version if it allows you to take them while navs up? Curious of how it looks. I have it ready once I do upgrade, but curious how it looks vs the old.

    Looks identical, except it adds a 'night mode' with darker colors.

    WOSQI 3.14 worked for me. Used the send file dialog and then the linux command dialog. No problems at all.

    downloaded older WOSQI here

    This worked fantastic! I am now happy again with my Sprint Pre-, Sprint Navigation, Flash and Freetether! I am content now to wait until September when my contract is up and I can get my Pre 3!

    So it appears novaterm is not a necessity as long as it's an older version of WebOS QI? What goes where? Install file, then force using command-line?

    Would someone mind giving a step by step using an older version of webOS Quick Install?

    This is assuming you have the needed file for this. 7zip is the best to extract but winrar will do

    Installation Procedure:

    1. Extract Palm-webOS-Doctor_webOS-Sprint-pre_pre_sprint.jar

    2. Find the Sprint.tar file inside the resources folder

    3. Extract the Sprint.tar file

    4. Find the com.telenav.sprintnavigation_1.0.1-86_armv7 file inside the /sprint/sprint folder

    5. Connect phone via USB, select just charge

    6. Use Send file command to send com.telenav.sprintnavigation_1.0.1-86_armv7 file into the /media/internal directory (I believe you can also do this by simply going into USB mode and dropping the file into the root folder)

    7. Use the command line in QI and ipkg install /media/internal/com.telenav.sprintnavigation_1.0.1-86_armv7.ipk -force-depends

    8. Disconnect and restart the phone

    And then you should have the new and improved Sprint Nav!

    (If for any reason any moderator has an issue with what I have posted, please feel free to edit/remove the post, or let me know what to change)

    i modified the instructions of using nova term but i am pretty sure this will do it

    I was able to get this working by using quick install and the linux command line without much effort; if someone would like the sprintnav file then feel free to contact me. I will put details below:

    -You will need an older veresion of webOS QuickInstall, which you can get HERE

    1. Download SprintNav file HERE

    2. Put your phone in Dev Mode, open up quick install, and send file to /media/internal

    3. Open up the linux command and type the following command:

    ipkg install /media/internal/com.telenav.sprintnavigation_1.0.1-86_armv7.ipk -force-depends

    4. Restart your phone. It should be there and working!

    Personal note - I assure you the .ipk file is safe (I uploaded the same file I used myself)

    Think i should include these instructions in the original post? or would it confuse people?

    I don't think you can post a link to that file here. Sure makes the process a whole lot easier though.
