    My little sister lost her pre awhile ago and I finally picked one up as a replacement for her. Heard about the new premium data charge and didnt want to pay it. Here's how I got out of it:

    keep the email in case they do charge you the $10 you can dispute it. I had an issue some time ago that they promised to take care of some extra charges and they still showed up in my account. After a few back and forth emails they finally took care of it and gave me a credit.

    forgive me for asking, but is the OP actually deaf? Just curious because that made the difference.

    I just left our local Sprint Store inquiring about the New Premier Program. After I expressed my feelings about the change & my reluctance to upgrading before the March 31st date; since there aren't definitive plans for the Pre3. She assured me that I wouldn't loose my current upgrade that's 1yr over due and that there were 3 devices to be released soon on Sprint. So naturally I poked & prodded for more info., explaining that I'd been following all the most current
    WebOS Forums. So after I mentioned the Features of the updated WebOs she just shrugged her shoulders looking away and said she couldn't say anything else but, that Sprint would be releasing 3 devices (Pre3, Veer, & the TouchPad) soon and that she'd see me in the Spring. So I prodded some more and asked if they were training on the new devices yet and again she looked away and said she see me in the Spring.

    I really Hope this is Accurate

    Highly unlikely. When you read something written by a deaf person, it looks nothing like this. Hearing people type the way they talk; the deaf type the way they sign. The OP's jargon and sentence structure not only has a speaking rhythm to it (which a deaf person has no experience of), but you can practically hear his accent.

    If you get the Touchpad, you would think that getting a phone on the same Sprint or Verizon account to use all the new features coming with WebOS.

    sorry, i should have clarified that i am not. I'm not a telephony sorta person. I much prefer chatting with sprint and dealing with my issues that way.
