I note with interest that the most current version of the pre apparently does not have the verizon gps problems. I have the pre plus with what I assume is the most current, pre 2.0, version of the software. Assuming that 2.0 is made available to pre plus users, will it fix this issue for us?

You have a verizon webOS 2.0 running on a Pre Plus?

I think by "pre 2.0" he means "before 2.0", but I don't know the answer to the question. Now that the Verizon Pre 2 doctor is available maybe someone has been able to get webOS 2.01 ported to a Verizon Pre Plus to test this.

correct. What I meant to say is that I have the pre plus and have the current version of the OS for that model (which would, obviously, not be, at least not yet, WebOS 2.0). Sorry for the confusion. But I would really like to get this crippled gps issue addressed and I am wondering if the webOS 2.0 will do this.
