    hey folks, I was researching the missed key press thing on palm pre pluses and tried something on mine, I see what is going on with it.
    open an email and reply , try each key by pressing gently just till it clicks. On my phone the s and n only registers if I press even harder then 'just clicking' my k key misses sometimes as does L .
    I saw discussion on this, mine drives me nuts as even feeling the click does not mean the character is on the screen. Anyone ever get theirs fixed?

    Did you try applying a little bit of force over the keys. I've heard that fixes it. Like rubbing them hard..

    try turning off the fat finger filter. Copy and paste the following command into terminal:

    echo 0 > /sys/class/i2c-adapter/i2c-3/3-0038/prox_timeout
