Long story short, I turned off my palm backup and deleted it.

So I contacted palm to have them restore it and get my information back.

No luck, I have two generic sprint contacts on my phone but I have all my apps! Whoopee!

A higher level tech is supposed to call me the next 48 hours. I wanted to know if anyone else has similar story and if you managed to get your information back?

Although your data may be able to be recovered anytime you turn off backup you are deleting the data off of the server as well.

Agreed, which is why the Palm rep restored a previous backup prior to me deleting it off the server. But for some reason, it wouldn't "Push" to my phone.

Just got a phone call from another tech, and he did the same thing the other two techs did.

But this time they were able to restore my data. I am happy again.

Didn't realize that Palm has had so many problems with the WebOS cloud backup. I would start figuring backing up my data outside of Palm, If I were you.
