im sorry but what is the point of having contacts birthdays if they are not put in the calender app?? if someone could make a patch that does this one thing i (ind i no alot of other) would be very greatful.

all it needs to do is put the contacts birthday in the calendar.

I am not aware of a patch. But if you use Google Contacts (and the interface is so much better than just keeping contacts on your Palm profile), you can then set your Google Calendar to display your contact's birthdays.

New in Calendar: Sports schedules and contacts' birthdays - Official Gmail Blog

Essentially, Google creates a separate "new" calendar in its system, and then your Pre adds that calendar to your phone via Synergy.

There is an outdated patch: http://forums.precentral.net/webos-p...-contacts.html

and a newer homebrew app (from the same dev): http://forums.precentral.net/webos-p...ml#post2767865

There is also an app called "Birthdays" which does a fine job. If you have a lot of contacts, though, you have to be patient when you first run it and let it do its thing. If it hangs on the downloading screen when it's syncing your contacts and calendar, just back swipe and restart the app.
