    whenever i plug my pre into my computer all it does is charge. it doesnt give the option for usb mode and it is not seen by WQI. can anyone help?

    First try a restart of both computer and pre and then check to make sure you don't have diag mode on.

    Make sure the cable you are using is a USB Cable. I have found a couple cables in my inventory are "charging only" cables and not true USB cables.

    Sounds good, just give me a few minutes to about two hours, my pre is going through some weird thing with getting signed out and now I cant accomplish anything at all. So I will post when ready

    ok first off .... open start menu and type in the search/run box " services.msc " without quotes . in the list that is populated click on services . now when the services list opens , scroll down to palm novacom and right click on it . now hit the restart button and all should be good .
    when you let your phone reboot while attached to your computer , it drops the connection just like unplugging a usb or anything from computer it can mess things up . so when ever your phone reboots all you do is unplug it and this will prevent this from happening .
