    Hello, all!

    I just had a quick question: -and all apologies if this has been asked before-
    As the title suggests, is it possible to use a at&t (GSM) Palm Pre: Plus as a mobile hotspot?
    If so, how would one go about that?

    there is an add on to their data package that allows you do do this. I think it's called connection mgr. you can also try apps such as freetether.

    I was hoping to the alternative of actually adding it to my data plan

    you should head over to freetether.com and read up on it. I haven't used it because I'm on Verizon and the MHS is free. But you should be able to find what you need at that site.

    This thread should get you up and running. I am using an unlocked HSPA/GSM AT&T Pre Plus on Bell in Canada, and have mobile hotspot installed. Before that I had a CDMA Bell Pre, with mobile hotspot installed. For both phones I used the methods described in this link:
