    Hello all!

Recently I restarted my device (AT&T Pre: Plus) while it was plugged into my computer's USB port, after the phone turned back on it would only charge -not connect to the computer or show any symbols. Has anyone seen this before?

    Thanks in advance,
    ~Ted

    Restart your computer.

Happens to me all the time. I stopped keeping my Pre plugged in while it restarts. It messes up the USB driver... Or something...

well letting your phone reboot while still connected to your computer caused the novacom driver to lose connection to the phone. if you want to restart the services first you have to open start menu , then type in services.msc when services pops up click on it . then when the list of services opens up scroll down and right click on palm novacom and hit restart . if you need any other info just ask.

That is awesome. I wish I knew this before. I thought it was my USB driver that exploded and not just novacom.

    Thanks for the tip Shadavis!

Also, you can type in the phone app "##USBPASS#" and make sure that everything is in none.
