I went to put headphones in my Pre and they won't go in all the way. It's like something is in there, but I can't see it.

Even worse, the stupid phone is stuck on headset mode.

As I have TEP, do you think I should not bother messing with it and just take it in, or is there an easy fix? Have tried blowing air.

If you have TEP take it in.

I had a headphone jack replaced a couple weeks ago, phone was ready in an hour. The hassle is cleaning it up in the event they look for homebrew, patches, etc.

Cleaning it up is going to be a pain, yeah.

Does Homebrew violate TEP? Even for a physical problem?

It's working in headset mode now btw, but headphones still won't go in.

    Tried.

I think I see what's in there too. Looks like a grain. Gotta stop cooking with my Pre.

Return the device before they are all out of stock. I got one that feels like it was custom design for me personally.

    Good luck.

My Sprint store no longer has techs. A hat pin did the trick though.
