A poll would probably get you more responses.

Don't think there's a poll on this thread, at this time anyway.

SR71 Blackbird @ 1.2 Ghz. After I got the core voltage properly configured it runs like a dream. Literally no waiting on apps.

F105 Thunderchief @ 1gHz works best for me. SR71 Blackbird near melted my phone, lol. Had to doctor and haven't had the guts to try it again. What's the core voltage configuration? I'm sure a quick search will get me where I need to be but thought I'd ask anyway...
Also, for some reason, UK ate away at my battery life running at 1gHz. Guess you just have to find what works for your device specifically.

I used SR71 for awhile but my battery life wasn't amazing. Been hopping between f105 and f102.

Is there any difference between f105 and UK?
and could someone point me in the direction of How to manipulate the core voltage? What are the advantages/disadvantages?

I'm back to F105. I just couldn't get the Pre to perform without some glitchiness with the latest UK.

F105 allows my Pre to smoke through apps and is pretty good on the battery.

what glitches do you get ?
  12. #12
F105 is awesome, no glitches for me and no more TMC errors on pre minus.

I use the uberkernel at 1 ghz. I used to use the 1.2 SR71, but if I cruse the internet for about 5 minutes the screen looks like it is melting and the phone reboots itself. This has only happened to me once using the uberkernel but I was on the internet for a long time. I don't think there is much of a noticable speed difference anyway between 1ghz and 1.2.

I'm running uberkernel 1ghz at this time, when I need a little more speed > I hop on over to 1.2ghz. I tried running the phone at 500mhz.. Wow! terrible slow.

im giving the F105 ago, no problems so far at 1005ghz btw you say when u want a bit more speed u pop over to 1.2ghz. do u have to uninstall the old kernel and install the 1.2ghz one

F105 at 1.05 .. (testing feeds) F105 at 1.05GHz and the Overclocked Rom to 200mhz is the equal to the Palm Pre 2. Plus 1.05GHz has better battery life.

UberKernel - Screenstate 500/800. Works perfectly. no crashes. a tad slower than 1 Ghz but gives me peace of mind that I am not frying my processor. Battery life seems to be a bit lower than Palm default but I can give up on a bit of battery life for faster page loadings.
