Using Internalz, create a Music folder in /media/internal. Install the messaging patch "Audio/Video Attachments". Using Internalz again, copy the ringtones you want to send to the Music folder. You should now have the ability to attach the audio files in a message.
It does not appear that there is a way to save the attachment, only listen to it, without using Internalz and navigating to /media/internal/.attachments/mms. I was able to find the attached audio in the very last folder.
I suppose if you're sending to a different device they may have a save option.

You can use the app Free Music Ringtones by James Harris. Download it from there and then use the method NachoB says.
