Sorry guys I haven't been around for a while

My precious pre slipped of my pocket while riding on the HWY , I had invested so much time installing all the goodies this forum brings.

Anyways, got another one on ebay and now i have to start all over.

Step number one after installing preware is to make this thing faster, can someone direct me to the latest and greatest super kernel i can install. The one i had installed brought my speed to 800, not sure where i can find it.

    Thank you for the help

    ps. v 1.4.5

OK, I have the latest upgrade to uberkernal, but I was just wondering,
What functions are improved by overclocking?
Are there any that suffer when overclocked?

[It seems that sometimes the camera gets stuck on a gray screen and won't let me take photos. Reducing speed to the default seems to help? Could that be one example?

    Thank,

    Len

Pros: Faster speeds. Faster app loading. No more TOO MANY CARDS error.

Cons: Battery Life. CPU Life is decreased. Temps get hot and could damage hardware.

Note that all our kernels now have automatic temperature limiters, so that should no longer be a concern.
