My wife forgot her Yahoo! mail password. She just changed her password the other day and now she can't remember it. The only good news is that she can still get in with her Palm Pre's email function. So it must be stored in there somewhere. Any idea on how I can retrieve it? The phone is not rooted, but I'm pretty technical and could figure out how to root it if that wouldn't wipe the stored password.

It's stored as an encrypted file. Why not simply log into Yahoo and click "forgot password"? From there you can reset it and be done.

Can't she just go online and follow the steps to change it, again?
    Sent from my favorite gadget!

    Ditto!

I forget mine all the time (when my cookies and temp files get cleared at work) and I have to go to Yahoo and just do the forgot password option and make a new one.
