    Hi Everyone,

I have a Palm Pre that is up to date with 1.4.5 Patch. I've got Preware on it and added themes, games, and various other cool toys, but when I visit certain media websites, it says: "Your Safari is version 1.0. Please update.", then it proceeds to bring me to an Apple site to update it. I figured I'd update it, but it won't work.

Is WebOS = Safari? If so, how do you update it? An example is sites like Bandcamp [dot] com (there's a few others too).

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Cheers.

The script on that site probably just defaults to that message if the users browser is not recognized.

While your assumption was wrong based on the information given it will actually probably end up being the solution.

    Try the iPhone spoof.
Thanks m8. Mind telling me exactly where to find the iPhone spoof (in detail)?

    Cheers.

You can actually install it in the tweaks section of WebOS QI, no need to resort to root or the command line!

I just checked bandcamp.com and it worked fine. I do not have the iphone-spoof installed.

Note: From what I've heard (and seen in my website's Google Analytics), the webOS browser shows up as Safari...

    Linux Applications:
    - Diffstat
    - GNU Patch
    - Lsdiff

    Patches:
    - Add IMDB
    - Audio/Video Attachments
    - Battery Icon and Percent
    - Capture with Volume Keys
    - Character Counter
    - Improved Photo Naming PRE
    - Share Larger Videos Via Email
    - Video Downloads - No Truncating

So here's the 'big' list (not sure if the linux part helps since I'm not very tech savy with the phone, but I do follow instructions to the letter).

In the meanwhile, I will try that iPhone spoof patch. Where is the "tweak section" btw? Could you explain a quick step by step how to do it from my phone and not my PC? Thanks m8
