Screenstate is preferable for most, however I've been using conservatve at 500/1000Mhz with great succes. It runs very smooth with better battery life, and stays in the 27-42C range temperature wise.

btw, I have 62 patches running on my Pre (including sconix's top bar Menu system), and keep Quick System Tasks open in dashboard mode most of the day, everyday.

I'll test it out after Pre restarts. I reinstalled the stock Palm kernel for safe measures...Because i dont want to have to doctor. I know for sure that if i uninstall F105 and then install Uberkernel after i restart,i'll go through the "loop action" and then i'll have to doctor. But installing the default Palm kernel should handle that issue

Edit: Do you guys think i can leave Tealspeed and Quick System Task in the notification bar with Uberkernel? I really would LOVE to..

tealspeed really started eating up my battery(no temp probs tho) so i took it off... i now just use super contacts plus and leave it in the dashboard with no negative effects...

Im also running conservative for now. Hopefully Pre doesnt get hot anymore. It kind of lags behind a little bit though.

I tried Thunderchief, my phone didn't like it, was constantly overheating. I finally had to doctor to get it back to normal, now I stick with UK.

    Yes, try the screenstate.

I would suggest trying a setting for two or three days before changing. Though some would disagree, from my experience it take a few days for a govnah setting to settle in.

UK is actually slower than F105. That i know now lol.
UK only performs as fast as F105 when you set it to "Performance max 1000"...But then, its going to keep running at 1ghz.

I use my phone a lot. Thats probably why it runs so hot.

Im actually getting better temperatures using performance max1000 min125. Does this mean the Pre will step down to 125 when the screen goes off?
