I know there are a lot of users out there with Palm phones in non-official countries...and many of us have struck issues with buying apps...(even when the phone has been activated correctly where it was purchased)

My question is why is this such an issue anyway? Why does it really matter if the Visa card is not from the country of origin?

Surely tax charges can just be built into the price of apps anyway.

Visa is designed to be an International system....currency conversion gets taken care of by default...

When I travelled through Europe in multiple countries my Australian Visa worked flawlessly...

I can buy all manner of products from International online stores....

VISA just works everywhere....apart from with Palm!!

    Why is it so?
