    Hello community,

my o2 Germany Palm Pre has a very bad 3,5mm headphone jack.
Just a lite touch at the headphones and the sound stops, only one side of the stereo earphones or headsets has sound or the sound is biased.

I used the headset of my mothers Nokia E72 and the sound was like hall and it seems the Pre is not able to make enough vibes.

But I've never read about this. Should I let it repair?

    Hi mahirrr,

yup.... 2 choices: either use a A2DP bluetooth headset, or get your headhphone jack repaired. Good luck!

Well, the Pre's battery life is not really the best, so I should repair it. Thanks.

You can also pick up an extended 1400mAh battery down the line. I definitely helps!

Which Battery do you mean? The one from Mugen?

Can I put on the touchstone back?

When my Pre's jack does this I know it's dirty and needs to be cleaned out. Take a Qtip and remove most of the cotton at the end, then spray the tip of the Qtip with electronic parts cleaner, then insert into headphone jack and rotate a few times. Repeat this procedure a couple times and it should be cleaned out.

Yes, the one by Mugen is fine, and you can use the touchstone cover with it.

Yup... I have the Mugen 1400 and it works perfectly with the TS back.
