    Hello,

Is anyone working on a fennec port for webOS? Android got a a very impressive alpha version today. Fennec Alpha Released for Android and Nokia N900 :: The Mozilla Blog

I remember someone in April seemed to imply that firefox was very close to being ported to webOS. http://www.precentral.net/firefox-po...-blame-madness

Is there any other news in that port?

    Thanks.

If you want stuff like this you need to contact the developer (Mozilla) and request it. If no-one is asking for it, they'll keep it on the back burner.

I remember a few months back some guy from mozilla had started porting firefox to webos, all be it in a very early stage, I tried looking but couldn't find any updates, has the port been released or is it even still in development?

I use Firefox Mobile on my car PC a lot. (aka fennec) This would be the way to go. a port to the PDK would be awesome.

I read on Precentral that the test didnt go too well. So it was scrapped.

Are you telling me the above efforts have stalled. Nooo! Maybe fennec will be more successful?

Not sure where you read that because it isn't true. Now that webOS 1.4.5 is actually available work has been continuing to get the port into some kind of early release-worthy shape. It's nearly there but there is no fixed availability date yet
