    has anyone tried the "facebook places" yet? I can't seem to figure out how to use it. When I click on places it just loads & loads...

    facebook touch. It wont work for the Pre as of now.

    It's on the webpage. I've not been able to find anything for it on the FB app.

    It's because the webOS browser doesn't support the HTML5 geolocation service.

    I use Foursquare, its a better app tha the FB one IMO

    I use Foursquare also. You can connect the Foursquare to Twitter and FB so it loads in your location to the news feed. This is where FB came up with this idea in the first place.

    I use Gowalla a lot and Foursquare when I think about it. Best to use those for now. Perhaps Palm will add in the functionality for the app.

    Foursquare or Zipsquare work fine. I would imagine you will see this in the Facebook Beta app soon enough. Those guys are always on top of things. Go tell them to put it in there and they will.

    Are you the Mayor anywhere? Lemme know so I can steal em hahah. But Foursquare is super-addicting for some reason, my wife gets so irritated at me sometimes because I have to check-in EVERYWHERE lol

    HTML5 Geolocation is on the new features list of WebOS 2.0, so Facebook places will work when that is released, at least.
