I dont know if this is possible, but I need to reinstall Windows 7 on one of my netbooks. I have an .iso but was wondering if it is possible to use the Pre as a bootable device in place of a usb stick drive.

if so, how easy is it to do that?

    Thanks

It's possible... but the biggest concern is it will not be super speedy.

Could you solve what your attempting to do with something like backtrack were you don't risk writing to the drive continually, which could potentially wear out the ssd?

potentially i could do something with backtrack, etc. but i sort of wanted to keep this simple. i have a usb drive that i could turn into a bootable device, i was simply looking to see if there would be any issues with turning a pre into a bootable device.

if you did, you would be in usb mode and unable to use it as a phone...

I was aware of that, I just didn't want any surprises and figured I'd find out if anyone else has done it. I will try it and post results.
