ah. Apparently Im experiencing a different issue. But my signal strength is sitting right next to my wireless router with wifi on and full bars of EV. Like I said before restarting usually fixes it for me though.

    Will soft restart (OrangeOption-Sym-R).

Although I've done a soft restart a half-dozen times since the 1.4.5 upgrade...

    See you in a few.

I see this all the time with my Sprint Pre. 90+% of the time, the video fails to play the first time. after it fails, if I try it again without leaving the YouTube app, I often get it to play. I've rebooted my Pre many times and that doesn't seem to make a difference. I do, however, have 20+ patches installed (none are YouTube specific) and ‹berkernel.

I find having a low voltage on my uberkernel settings causes this for me

What do you mean by "low voltage?"

I'm running 500/800 Mhz Screenstate in Govnah. I've tried this with compcache disabled, and enabled with 16384. The rest are set to defaults. I'm trying to to increase the compcache to 32768 right now.

I frequently have issues with YouTube vids not playing too. Haven't been able to take the time to try and figure it out. Sometimes, but not often, exiting the app and restarting it works. Most of the time I reboot, and that usually works. Kinda frustrating, and definitely a nuissance.

I'd been having this trouble for months. I'm having a lot more luck now that I've enabled CompCache 32768. I've tried 4-5 videos and all of them played back on the first try.
