The developer removed the app from the catalog due to personal decision.

The files are still available for install through use of WebOS Quick Install....I'm not sure where the specific files are though, I'm sure a quick search on the forums will lead you to them.....

As for website free ringtones, phonezoo.com is my personal favorite
    Mobile HotSpot At&t

In anticipation of the fruit company's cease and desist, I guess. Something like that being mainstream won't stand for long.
There's probably a 'non compatible' clause somewhere in the terms of use. As a fringe thing, it might be ignored for a while. Plus, there's no direct involvement by Palm, if push comes to shove.

As stated above, the dev pulled the app from the catalog because of all the useless crap whining from users. You can still download the app and install via woqi via the official developer thread below:

I think Myxer is one of those sites that not many people know about and whenever it's posted people just ignore the link thinking it's a scam or a pay site. I haven't bought a ringtone EVER. And having the Pre ringtones in Mp3 format just makes it all that much easier. Once you find out about Myxer, there's NO going back.

Another similar app called pRingtones is available in the catalog.
