    Shadavis08 - Novacom is up and running and I've tried the orange+sym+u code dozens of times. Nothing works. it doesn't do anything!

    OMG! I got it! Tried installing usb passthrough one more time, changed all the settings then changed it back to none and uninstalling...My USB mode is back! Thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much bdnremtp!!! You're a hero!

    do you have firewalls turned on , on both computers or virus protection. If so turn them off and try again.

    Well I started and stopped and restarting and reinstalled novacom at least 10 times and it didn't do a damn thing.

    I am glad you were able to get your usb working again, I know how frustrating. I am never going to use USBpassthrough again. Somehow settings seem to get stuck in USBpassthrough. All I wanted to do was tether with my laptop, no wireless. BTW I am using Bluetooth to tether without any software added to my Pre.

    I am having exactly the same problems you encountered (usb - just charge not connecting) and it is drving me insane, however i am unable to uninstall usb passthrough as i done a reset and lost preware (doh!) any ideas what do from here?

    unfortunately, even forcing my phone into recovery mode wouldn't let me doctor anyway when I had this problem. Here's my idea:
    1. turn all the usb passthrough settings on to anything other than none (if I recall, one won't change) and restart your phone.
    2. turn all the settings back to none and restart again.
    When I had this problem, I said screw luna restart and did full restarts everytime. Sounds a little overkill, but it might work. Try it a few times if it doesn't work the first time. I think usb passthrough just gets kinda "stuck" and doesn't always work the first time.

    I really hope that does it for ya.

    Thanks runaraven will try this when i get it back from repair!! The speaker has broken right after this problem (LOL!!) and let u know thanks again!!
