    Has anyone run SunSpider in their browser with UberKernel? I am curious about how much of a speed increase people are getting at different frequencies.

    My stock Pre Plus 1.4.1.1 runs it in 25.9 seconds.
    My iPhone 3g iOS4 ran it in 45 seconds. iOS4 slowed the iPhone 3g way down. I did not test it when it had iOS3.

    1.4.2 Pre Plus running 800/500 screenstate: 14.13 seconds +/- 4.2%.

    Running the F105 at 1 ghz puts the Pre/Pre+ neck and neck with the iPhone 4 in the sunspider benchmark. (around 11 seconds)

    I don't think the Uberkernel has a 1 ghz option yet though.
    Palm Vx -> Treo 600 -> Treo 700p -> Centro -> Pre (Launch Phone 06/06/09) -> AT&T Pre Plus with Sprint EVDO swap -> Samsung Epic 4G w/ Froyo

    I'm going to do it with 1.2 GHZ soon, give me a few minutes.

    There is a test version of the UberKernel out now with the option for 1GHz. I got it a few days ago.

    UK @ 600MHz = 19.38 seconds +/- 8.6%
    UK @ 1GHz = 12.69 seconds +/- 7.6%

    Wow, those are some pretty significant increases!

    Would it be wrong to assume that normal website rendering would see the same type of speed increase?

    I believe so. I run it at 600MHz to save battery life, but there is a noticable difference when I'm web browsing. Lol
