I think they mean Palm Pre & Palm Pre Plus.

Palm Pre - 600Mhz processor, 8GB of Storage and 256MB of RAM
Palm Pre Plus - Same Processor, 16GB of storage and 512MB of RAM. Oh and no button on front.

The additional RAM helps more with the amount of Apps that can be run at once than it does with overall speed of the phone. Because of teh added RAM the Pre Plus doesn't suffer from the 'Too Many Cards' problems that the original Pre does.

Perhaps the OP meant 2x and 3x or 2g and 3g (unless perhaps it actually is 2P/3P in whatever country they are in). loxas, if that's what you meant, those are the data connection speeds your connecting to your cell phone network with, 3, of course, being a faster connection, and therefore, if the app you are using is transmitting any data, it will generally operate faster on the 3x/3g network connection. I hope that answers your question?

I think perhaps birchasr better translated the original post than I did
