    When making outgoing calls, I cannot hear through the ear speaker. If I hit the speaker phone button I can hear fine. For incoming calls it works fine. I have completely reset the phone but no difference. Seems to be software related. This is driving me crazy - any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

    yep. Search for 'stuck in headset mode'. Sometimes restarting the phone fixes it, and there are other solution ideas around here.

    the one time is happened to me, verizon had to replace it.

    Try this. Go into 'device info' go to 'more info' then pull down the menu at top left and go to interactive tests and do the one for audio. That has worked for me in the past. I t resets the audio outputs.
