Another thread got me to thinking about the importance of overclocking to WebOS users, so I've put together a poll that I think will cover everyone.

Gosh, you guys are quick. 3 of my options were too long, it took me a few minutes to edit them down. Poll is up now.

If you guys would get rid of that ridiculous 100 character limit per option. You really expect me to say something in less than 100 characters? I had trouble with Twitter at 140!!!

It's probably because there're too many characters here already.

"Love WebOS as it is. NO desire to OC my Pre."

You didn't give me that option! :-D

"Love WebOS as it is. NO desire to OC my Pre."

    ditto
  16. #16
Another option left out was "I OCed but it was wasted on me because WebOS is fast enough as is for what I do."
Sometime you are the ball; sometimes you are the pins.

I love having the OC, but I was happy with my Pre before the OC and I would be happy with it if I had to go back.

(I get to keep Compcache in this scenario, right?)

I've been back at stock speeds for a while now, I like how everything seems to float. Stock pre is awesome

The other thread hinted at the theory that overclocking was the only reason a person would stick with WebOS. Those three options would preclude the notion that someone is keeping the device only because of OC.

#1 would be that option. Please note the title of the thread - Overclocking as a Necssity. A person that loves WebOS as it is with no desire to OC has no ncessity for OC. Same thing for a person that's getting rid of it OC or not. For the purpose of this count, OC is not a necessity for either group.
