Sorry if this is a repost, I did a search and found similar issues, but none of the threads I found were exactly like my problem. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue or not, and if so anyone know how to fix it?
I have 4 email accounts setup on my Pre, Yahoo-Gmail-School Email-Hotmail. A few minutes ago, I got 4 of the same errors:

    "SSL Certificate Error
The server's security certificate has expired.
Contact your IT department or email provider to fix the issue."

I dismissed the notifications and restarted my phone. Sure enough the same notifications (one for each email account) popped up again. I dismissed them again, but now my emails aren't being pushed to my phone anymore. All 4 of my email accounts are dead...

    I need help!
Thanks in advance if you have any ideas how I can fix this.

    EDIT:
After conducting a more thorough search, I found the post that fixed my problem (I unfortunately can't put up a link due to my amateur-status)...I must've somehow overlooked it in my initial search.
Once again, I apologize for the repost.
Feel free to delete this thread if necessary.

I get the same error from time to time, but all my Exchange accounts still work, so I dunno.

I'm getting the same error as well, now I can't get my email, twitter apps not working, it just sucks . Restarted my Pre and still nothing. This is on my home wifi, and other public hotspots.

EDIT: Disregard, read to check time and date and some how magically my Pre date and time change?!?! Inputted the correct settings and now I'm all set.

    Hi,

got the same and found this:
    1) Go to https://s.outlook.com or https://m.hotmail.com
    2) When prompted, Trust Certificate
    3) Go on Email and sync the email accounts and all will properly sync again

In fact after the first my incoming mail was working again, and after the second outgoing mail worked.

So I can keep on mailing with my Palm Pre

some provider (e.g in Germany) are introducing crypted e-mail exchange (TSS) because ... u know why.
anyway, the initial setup don't work anymore.
look there is an intruction for android phones & set the same parameter for pop and push.
it should work (it did in my case)
What can be said at all can be said clearly, and what we cannot talk about we must pass over in silence.

I spent some time over on the touchpad side trying to figure this out. Thanks to Fhatid and Grabber for the suggestions.

Started Yellow triangle for outgoing mail.

I did not have any Microsoft or Hotmail certs in my certificate manager. I wound up uninstalling Global Sign Root cert. then I used the http://m.hotmail.com "Trusted Cert" and then reinstalled Global Sign Root.

This put *.Hotmail.com GlobalSign Organization Validation CA - G2 back in my Security Certificates.

Now I have lost the yellow triangle but the email still sits in the outbox. "Hotmail not yet updated."

Question: For those people with a working Hotmail outbox what Security certs from Hotmail do you have in your Certificate Manager?

these are my manual Hotmail settings:

    Incoming: pop3.live.com, SSL, 995

    Outgoing: smtp.hotmail.com, TLS 587

I contacted MS via chat. They are looking into it and will get back to me. I'll post their scoop tomorrow
