We have to visit Internet via proxy. And the brower of webos can't config details of the proxy (http,sock....)

I search the precentral and webos-internal . only one artical about this issue based on squid.
but squid isn't the best one for Pre phone.

Some users said Tinyproxy/Nylon or ssocks better.

Is some one can give a step-by-step list about how to build the proxy? Or is someone can pack it as a IPK.

    Thanks lot.

Would you care to elaborate on how to install a proxie from optware? I just did a bunch of searching, and I'm none the wiser!

The way I did it was to first root it, upload preware, open preware and download terminal, you can put optware in your feeds and then you type
    ipkg-opt install tinyproxy
I know that is a lot to do but there are tutorials all over the internet and that is how I learned. If you need links pm or more info.
