Is there any advantage of using one method of rebooting your Pre(+) over another.

I remember reading that pulling the battey fully cleared the RAM.

    Which method is best?

    1 - Reboot from 'power off/reboot menu'
2 - Power down, wait, reboot
3 - Power down, pull battery, wait, reboot
    4 - 'Orange+sym+r' to reboot

Wow! Which method is best. Best for what? What exactly are you trying to do/fix? You see what I'm talking about. :-)

They all serve their purpose though. Reboot. Lol

Best as in the freshest start. I reall just to want to now if the battery-pull really is the only one that fully clears the RAM.

Kind of think it like your computer...

    1. Reboot from 'power off/reboot menu' - This is similar to doing a restart on your computer
    2. Power down, wait, reboot - Similar to shutting your computer completely down and then starting it back up.
    3. Power down, pull battery, wait, reboot - Shutting your computer completely off..yanking the power cord out..
    4. 'Orange +sym+r' to reboot - This is similar to doing a restart on your computer, however think of it as just restarting Windows itself without the entire computer restarting..

Based on that each can serve different purposes depending on the scenario you are running into.
