I just bought a Pre for a backup/fun phone. I really wanted to learn webOS and see if it really did have the potential to be a dominant smartphone OS. Used windows mobile for 2 years and android for the past year.

My question is do I need to make the Pre the active phone on my account to be able to set it up or is there a way to force wifi on and connect that way? I would prefer to keep using my EVO atleast until i figure out all the ins and outs of webOS.

I would love to be able to write a detailed comparison of android and webOS after using webOS for a few months.

Thank you, hopefully I'll figure out how to work it in the morning. Having a little trouble setting up virtualbox right now.
