    Hey everyone. Im trying dr my Pre but everytime I try it tells me my phone was disconnected when it wasnt. Then it says click ok to try again. I click ok and it just sits there. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks.

    If this doesn't work, restart your PC and also your phone.

    What operating system are you using. I have not been able to successfully doctor my phone using my Windows 7 desktop, but my old XP laptop had no issues.

    Do you know for sure that the cable isn't bad?

    I've had no issues with Windows 7 with webOS Doctor, either on my x86 laptop or my x64 media / gaming PC... Though the first thing I do is immediately turn UAC off. If you don't you might need to run as an administrator.

    I finally got it to work. Had to do the hold the volume button up until the usb icon came up and then plug it into the comp after that. Took several tries but it finally worked.
