I am trying to troubleshoot a hotsyncing problem with Motion Apps Classic application. I learned about the free WebOS Network Tools application today that has many common TCP diagnostic tools.

My home PC can ping the Pre (over my home Wi-Fi), but using Network Tools, the Pre cannot ping my home PC. Note: Other computers on the network can ping my home PC. In addition, my Wi-Fi access point can ping both my home PC and the Pre.

So the question is, should I be able to ping my home PC from the Pre? If yes, could having a Mobile Hotspot installed (but turned off) be causing this type of problem. I have a Sprint Palm Pre with WebOS 1.4.1.1.
