I got my replacement pre, and when I install preware, and I think its when i use my save/restore, updating preware fails. Any ideas?

Does it do this everytime you load Preware or just one time?
I have had it happen to me once and then it go away, might have been a flaky wifi connexion at the time.

It happened all yesterday :/ and today.

Why you not try to re-install Preware instead using the one from save/restore. Maybe that app not restore correctly. Try to uninstall first then clean install again.

And don't forget to restart you Pre each time Preware got error or stuck. If you not restart your Pre. Error will always persist.

I have tried reinstalling preware separately and the issue still remains,

Make sure Preware is closed. Go in WebOS Quick Install, open up Linux Commandline.

Copy, paste, and enter these as separate commands:

    Code:
    mount -o remount, rw /
    rm -rf /media/cryptofs/apps/usr/lib/ipkg/cache
    Reboot phone

just tried it and i still get the error.

I put each line in separately and didnt get any feedback from command line. Just making sure, you meant past each line in separate? or is it from the comma?

They are two commands. If that didn't work, then I don't have a clue.

    Its like this:
    Mount -o ....
    (enter)
    rm -rf ....
    (enter)

Post this in the Preware thread so you can grab the attention of Rwhitby.

Worth a shot. I don't think Internalz gives the public that capability yet though.

Disable all feeds, then enable them again one by one until you find the one which is causing the problem.
