Hey I did some searching but I can't seem to get a definite answer ...

If I webDoctor my Sprint Pre, and I have the 800Mhz.sh type, will the doctor remove the kernel or will I have to still manually remove it though the linux command line?

Thanks for any advice in advance

    Nope. It wont.
Most of us updated with the kernel still in the phone and nothing happened to it.

He didn't ask about updating. I think the doctor will remove it and put your device in a "pristine" state.

Yes, the good doctor returns the device to the factory OS, while retaining whatever's on the USB drive.
