when the palm mobile hotspot was briefly available in the sprint app catalog, I tried installing it. It of course failed to install, and I later learned it wasn't even supposed to be available for sprint. I uninstalled it and moved on.

However, I was digging around while in USB, and noticed a folder labeled "palm mobile hotspot" in my "downloads" folder with a few files in it. Is this the leftovers from an unsuccessful uninstall, and do you think it's safe to just delete it manually?

Anything in USB should be safe to remove, especially if it's not linked to a running app (i.e. wallpaper, ringtone).
