You really had to post a question on a forum to figure out how to get the battery out? Stick a credit card between the top of the battery and the phone.. It will pop out.

Hold the phone steady with one hand, pound it against your other hand.

    If that doesn't work...

Get a hammer and hit the screen with the battery cover off.

You could also gently use a flat-head screw driver to pry at the top.

Throw it against a wall with the battery cover off.
    That should do it.

All of these ideas work, just an addition to this one, use a jewelers screw driver. Most regular flat heads are to large to fit.
I'm a man, but I can change, if I have to, I guess.

That's true. I sometimes just assume that everyone has a big collection of tools like me I have about $6000 worth of tools

Anyway, yes. Use a screwdriver with a very narrow tip
