    I live in the western suburbs and very rarely have problems getting a good GPS signal. Sorry you have problems. Did you try rebooting your phone?

    This used to happen to me a lot but then I got the 800mhz patch and it seems to work every time now.

    My GPS locks on me within seconds and works pretty well. I hate google and rather have Microsoft's Live Maps because there aerial photo's are much better in quality.

    Just turned off Geotag photos and my position was correct and not 3/4 a mile off anymore.

    Interesting. I can't think of a mechanism by which that feature would cause position issues.
