    When viewing the "My Applications" page from the app catalog, several of my apps give me that message when I tap on them.

    What does this mean?

    Generally it means it was not installed through the app catalog, so Preware and any apps you've installed through Preware or Quick Install should pop that up.

    Thanks. I don't think I have ever seen that at all. Perhaps because I don't use Preware/WebOS quick install as much anymore.

    Yes, it is Preware and Homebrew apps that give me this message.

    Wish the message would say "This application was not installed through the app catalog" instead - the existing message seems to suggest there is something wrong with the app.

    why are most of the new apps in the cataloge today giving that error?? Like purchase recorder and photoshare..
