Default I just got a "new" 1.4.1 OS Update

hi every one. I'm using 1.4.1 since 31.03... but 10 mins ago I opened Update app and it said there is a "NEW" 1.4.1 Update! it was 1 mb. in the description was that this update is giving me paid apps...

after I just updated there is now a strange thing ! my build number was 202 after 'first' 1.4.1 update.. after this one it's 205.

app catalog said there are 872 apps for me (free + paid) BUT now after I just updated it says there are ONLY 59 updates! and all of them are free. when I try to open page of an app I already had installed (from app catalog) it says that I should update my system... wt* ?!

by the way I haven't deleted any patches and haven't deleted theme, and EVEN haven't deleted the custom kernel + uber-kernel (from preware).
cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep 'BogoMIPS' still gives:
BogoMIPS : 796.91

all hail our overlords for the brief moment of paid app enlightenment

I wonder whats really going on though. I wonder if its a mistake or if theres been some problems with the paid app system and they have decided to pull the plug?

They promised to include new payment-methods later-on, maybe this is being introduced right now?

I will hold off doing the update until there are more reports on how others have got on. Feel I ought to remove 800 file first, just to be safe.

Anyone got this notification without the uber kernel from webOS internals? I had the feeling this could be the cause...

I have a unpatched device and also the notification ...
All German O2 & all UK O2 customers received this update.

Either it is a _bug_ or a update for new features like other paymethods or so.

Yep, just got the same 1.4.1 deja vu update, and I'm running standard 1.4.1 with a couple of patches.

Sometimes I despair of Palm/O2

Nothing here, and a check on updates states my phone is up to date (build 202). Wonder what is going on!

Default from the o2myhandy twitter

their o2myhandy twitter says:
Code:
das #WebOS Update ist echt und hilft Probleme von Leuten die von 1.1x/1.2x auf 1.4 springen zu vermeiden. Die Apps kommen natürlich zurück
Meaning: update to solve problems for people updating from 1.1x/1.2x to 1.4. The Apps will return.

Update: just read here some people heard that within 48 hrs a follow-up update should be deployed.
