one of my most missed features from my old sidekick 3 was the ability to make my own autoreplace words. There was a menu built right into the OS that allowed me to do it on the fly (for example, if I wanted to I could change "gkdhd" to potato if I wanted to lol.) is there anything like this in a patch?

well, there is an app - look for "AutoCorrect Edit" (paid app) I think. What I do is edit the auto-replace text file and upload it with wosqi. This is not an 'on-the-fly' solution though. I have several shortcuts that I use on a regular basis appended to the file.
